Over the last few weeks I have been inundated with great charities coming forward to seek selection by Wheel2Wheel. These approaches are not completely unsolicited but rather the result of word-of-mouth. I was fortunate to be introduced last month to a few non-profit “gurus” in China and Hong Kong. These gentlemen have spread the word and we are now getting access to some really interesting organisations. It is going to be supremely difficult to select just ONE charity in each country we pass through. It really is amazing to see the sheer scale of the philanthropic world out there. I know people say Asia is slow to get organised in philanthrophy, but the number of people doing good in Asia is still incredible to me.
