Working through all the charities is quite an eye opener – there are some many worthy causes out there, and some truly inspiring individuals working their socks off to help others. We can’t help everyone but I am pleased that we will be able to seriously contribute to so many different causes in this part of the world. Having grown up in Africa, I have encountered a lot of poverty and suffering, but there are always uplifting stories of human endeavour thrown in the mix. I’m sure we will be meeting some amazing people on this journey.
