After 30 hours of theory and practical classroom work over the last four days, I have now completed the St. John Ambulance First Aid Course (http://www.stjohn.org.hk/en/index.shtml). What an awesome experience! Apart from meeting some nice people in the class, I feel blessed to have learnt so much valuable, life-saving information. I really got into every aspect of the course. We covered an enormous range of topics covering all systems of the body and the most common corresponding injuries and illnesses for each. There were many sections of the course relevant to potential occurrences during Wheel2Wheel. This adventure is dangerous, which I why every rider will obtain First Aid training prior to departure.
