Since having the very fortunate opportunity to join the Wheel2Wheel team, my life has certainly taken a turn towards the more adventurous.
Taking on challenges that allow me to both explore my creativity as a writer and make contact with hugely inspirational individuals has given me the courage to begin to realise my own potentiality.
Instead of distantly dreaming about what I would like to do with my life, I have suddenly found myself taking the first steps towards a career path that embraces my philanthropic ideals, whilst at the same time being a whole lot of fun.
What I appreciate the most about Wheel2Wheel is the fact that it is solely ethically motivated and that every last drop of effort that people put in will go directly towards improving the lives of others. This is no easy task and it is always going to be a struggle to set one’s sights so high, but I understand that we all have a decision to make in life and this opportunity has brought me to the brink of beginning to achieve the right one.
For the first time I am no longer overwhelmed by the futility of trying to make a difference, I am totally excited by the difference I could potentially make.
