Wheel2Wheel Milestones

What a week for Wheel2Wheel!  As I sit here on Sunday evening (the boys FINALLY sleeping) I am trying to plan my week ahead, writing out my TO DO list for tomorrow and semi overwhelmed at the amount of stuff I have to cram in before the mass holiday departure from Hong Kong.  Instead of creating panic before I go to sleep, let’s take a moment to highlight all the amazing Wheel2Wheel milestones that took place this past week as it was a BIGGIE!

Probably the biggest milestone for me personally and Wheel2Wheel on a whole was the launch of both the Own-a-Km and online cash donation feature on the Wheel2Wheel website.  Together with my fellow team members, I have been working on the design and launch of these features since my joining Wheel2Wheel in August.  As with most things in life, there were a few uphill battles to be fought, but we got there!  Thanks to all those who have already purchased Wheel2Wheel kilometres.  In less than a week we have sold 2400km.  We have many more to go (17,600km to be exact), so please continue your support of Wheel2Wheel and buy a km today!

Wheel2Wheel also celebrated the silly season together this past week with a lovely team dinner at Morgan’s place.  It was a brilliant night filled with great food, friends, wine, laughter and our, “Wheel2Wheel is” video.  If you are still unsure as to what Wheel2Wheel is … then check out our video … it is awesome!

Wheel2Wheel also signed off of on our official t-shirts.  We have two exciting styles headed your way for the New Year.  Full images and sales will be available online in the WEAR W2W section of our website soon.  Stay tuned!

Additionally, we hit the 2,000 fan mark and added custom pages to our Facebook zone.  The Wheel2Wheel message is really starting to spread which is fantastic!  Thanks to all our followers and supporters for LIVING THE DREAM!!!!

And last, but definitely not least … I had a personal Wheel2Wheel milestone this week.  My first motorbike ride on the back of Morgan’s bike.  We had to meet with the t-shirt printer over in Kowloon.  For the sake of time and convenience, Alan jokingly suggested we take the bike.  I reluctantly agreed and ended up loving it!  What a thrill!  I survived thanks to cautious driving by Morgan and loved the adventure.
