Today was one of those “good” days in the hectic schedule of Wheel2Wheel as we prepare for our first-ever adventure, less than 70 days away!
Paige and Morgan went to collect all the sponsored accessories from our friends at BMW Concessionaires (HK) Limited. It was like Christmas had come a couple of day early! Incredible gear and incredibly professional people – we feel honoured to be the only adventure expedition ever sponsored by BMW Motorrad in Hong Kong.
The products sponsored include a “bash plate” which is made of toughened aluminium which protects the bike from logs, rocks etc from below; a softbag to carrying camping equipment across the rear of the bike; protective steel bars to encase the exposed portions of the engine; and the all-important tank bag that will house all the critical documents, communications devices and maps on the fuel tank.
